From 2015 until 2019 I taught as the main cello teacher at the music school
Schieder-Schwalenberg. The age and level of my students differ greatly -
whether they are young children or seniors: everyone can benefit from music lessons!
Since September 2022, I am an active student of the newly created master's program in music pedagogy at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rüdiger and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Weuthen, as well as guest-professors like Prof. Dr. Barbara Busch, Prof. Ulrich Rademacher and Friedrich Koh Dolge I take courses in instrumental and music pedagogy, music school leadership and law, University didactics and pedagogical research.
In August 2023 I was able to publish an article about positive feedback in instrumental lessons
in the leading music pedagogy magazine "Üben & Musizieren".
From autumn 2023 I am doing a mandatory internship in the field of music school management
at the Bergische Musikschule Wuppertal.
From October until March I taught as a substitute teacher for Cello at the music school in Mönchengladbach.

My leading idea in any lesson is the goal my students set for themselves.
Where do they want to get to, what do they need for achieving that goal
and how do I get them there?
I see myself as the one who assists the learner at any level.
Therefore it doesn't matter at what level you are at now or how little time you have for practicing.
We will find the pace that fits you, so you can enjoy making music.
